ESYHF TO HOST SPRING EXTRAVAGANZA

Players to Compete in Skills Competition and Mini-Tournament at Wachovia Spectrum

The first annual ESYHF Spring Extravaganza will be held on Saturday, April 12 at the Wachovia Spectrum. The event will feature an on-ice skills competition, a round robin tournament, free food, and prizes. All students who participated in ESYHF’s 2007-2008 programming are invited to participate.

During the skills competition, players will compete in the hardest shot, most accurate shot, puck control challenge and fastest skater categories. Goaltenders will be tested in the breakaway and puck control challenges. After lunch, players will be split into even teams to compete in a round robin tournament.

ESYHF asks that players be dropped off at Bullies on the South Side of the Spectrum at 10:00am. The Extravaganza will wrap up at approximately 4:30, and participants can be picked up where they were left off. Players must bring all of their equipment, including skates.

Family members are encouraged to watch the action from the stands.

If you will be attending the event, please RSVP by calling our office at 215-952-5271 or sending an email to cnewton@esyhf.org.
